Data Protection Complaint.

Your right to complain to us directly about how we have handled your personal information — under section 164A of the Data Protection Act 2018.

Since 19 June 2026, section 164A of the Data Protection Act 2018 gives you the right to complain directly to Alderframe Ltd about how we have handled your personal information — separately from, and in addition to, your right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. This page is how you do that.

What you can complain about

Anything to do with how Alderframe Ltd has processed personal data relating to you — for example through Freshli, RouteSky, SaySpace, this website, an enquiry you sent us, or a Build With Alderframe project. That includes a request we did not answer, information we hold that you believe is wrong, or processing you think we should not be doing.

Make a complaint

Use the form below, or any of the other routes further down. You do not have to use the form — we will accept a complaint made in any clear way.

Submitting opens your email app with the complaint addressed to [email protected] and ready to send, so you keep a copy in your sent items. If that does not work on your device, email us directly using the address below.

What we will do, and when

  1. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receiving it. In practice we aim to acknowledge within 5 working days.
  2. We will look into what happened, to the extent appropriate to the complaint.
  3. We will keep you informed of progress if it is going to take a while.
  4. We will tell you the outcome, and what we have done or will do about it, without undue delay.

If we need more information to identify you or to understand the complaint, we will ask promptly and explain why.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at any point — you do not have to come to us first, and you do not have to wait for our answer:

Something other than data protection?
